Discovering the path to Harvard

“In my first semester at Harvard, I worked with several other students to create a chapter of the national DREAM Program here. It was my first foray into working with youth, and I was excited to give Cambridge kids a taste of the campus that was so close to their homes,” says Harvard student Sara Providence ’14.

Welcoming service

Rising sophomores are connecting with each other, their new House, and the community this spring through Harvard College Serves (HCS). Launched this year by the College Events Board, HCS joins incoming freshmen with House public service student representatives and public service tutors for volunteer projects at area nonprofits.

Brinton Lucas ’11 Named Solicitor General’s Office Bristow Fellow

Brinton Lucas, a 2011 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, has been named a Bristow Fellow for the Office of the Solicitor General, one of the most prestigious positions available to recent law school graduates.
